To support our North American Team we are looking for a full-time

Supporter & Software Consultant (m/f/d) – Hotel Software

The tasks are manifold

  • Technical support and consulting for our customers and sales partners
  • Planning, implementation and follow-up of installations and maintenance of our software products at the customer’s site or by remote connection from the office (throughout USA & Canada)
  • Creation of project and case related documentation and maintenance of our ticket tool and our knowledge database
  • Planning and implementation of user training courses
  • Creation, documentation and maintenance of installation instructions according to internal standards
  • If required, support for our sales staff at product presentations at trade fairs and at customers‘ premises
  • Increase and maintain customer satisfaction

What you need to bring along besides dedication and fun in technology

  • A successfully completed apprenticeship or academic qualification (diploma/degree) in either the hospitality or IT sector (both would be great!) 
  • Very good computer skills and great interest in IT
  • Excellent English and Spanish spoken and written, French would be great, but is not a must
  • You are eloquent and maintain a friendly tone, even in stressful situations
  • The ability to work independently, to make decisions and not be afraid to take responsibility
  • Customer-oriented work and a dedication to always offering first-class service
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team, as well as confidence when dealing with customers and colleagues alike
  • Willingness to travel, a valid driving license is a must – a fear of flying might be a hindrance 
  • Familiarity with protel hotel software would be advantageous, but is not mandatory
