Support Specialist (m/f/d) – Interfaces

The tasks are manifold

  • Technical support and advice for customers and business partners via phone or email as well as in one-to-one talks
  • Planning, implementation and follow-up of installations and maintenance of our software products on-site at the customer or remotely
  • Installation of interfaces to external systems (to telephone or credit card systems, booking platforms such as booking, HRS, etc.)
  • Agreement / coordination with the providers of the external systems
  • Technical Support of interface applications for customers, business partners and employees
  • Reading and Analysis of interface and system-specific protocols
  • Maintenance and optimization of existing solutions, including documentation
  • Close cooperation with our integration team within the scope of projects and installations
  • Increasing and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Maintenance of our ticket tool and our knowledge database
  • Continuous development of your know-how over the entire protel product range and the corresponding technical interrelationships

What you need to bring along besides dedication and fun in technology

We don't mind what kind of training you've had. But it is important to us that you already have experience with interfaces and technical support, that you are friendly and can organize yourself well. The decisive factor is that you are open to new ideas and interested in customer satisfaction

  • First experience with interfaces and technical support
  • Very good command of both spoken and written German and English
  • Customer-oriented work philosophy and the demand to always offer first-class service
  • Good communication skills and a team player, as well as a confident and assertive demeanor
  • The ability to work independently, make decisions, and not be afraid of taking on responsibility
  • Well-developed competence with problem solving and the ambition to independently solve even complicated cases independently
  • SQL knowledge is not a must, but gives you an advantage
  • Willingness to occasionally work late, at night, or on weekends. (These shifts are only staffed with a small number of supporters which means that the shifts rotate)
